Estrangement and Revelation on Stargate Universe s02e07

Stargate Universe season 2 episodes have been a sci-fi extravaganza, as we saw a captivating clash ensue between Colonel Young's crew and the Lucian Alliance soldiers for the control over Destiny. Meanwhile, we saw a shocking twist in this season of Stargate Universe as Destiny prepared to jump to FTL, and the shuttle crashed on the planet. One of the most interesting secrets that's been revealed in the season 2 episodes has been the discovery of Destiny's bridge by Rush, before he sent the team to investigate an inactive stargate on a neighboring planet. This is one series that manages to have one enthralled beyond all limits, making it stand as the paragon of sci-fi.

Even though things were perfect initially with them trying to befriend the alien, everything went haywire when Col. Young decided to capture the alien. The alien ended up escaping, which led to all its fellow aliens reversing the energy transfer, threatening to leave Destiny power-drained and adrift.

Meanwhile, this episode will also see Rush harboring yet another dangerous secret, which will later be revealed, much to his chagrin. This secret will be that he has partial control over the Destiny. He will let Amanda Perry know about his secret, under the pretext of him needing help in his mission to manually fire the thrusters of Destiny. With Perry's help, he'll be able to steer Destiny back to the damaged ship. But Eli will see through the plan, and will reveal the secret to everyone, worst of all to Young.
